I first got to know Linda professionally through the wellness community, as fellow downtown business owners in massage and yoga. Over time, that professional relationship grew into a friendship, and I came to appreciate not only her creativity but also her incredible attention to detail, vision, and ability to make things happen.

During my tenure as Executive Director at OCUW, Linda joined our fundraising committee to help with a major event during COVID. She helped curate a virtual fundraising experience that included beautiful take-home boxes, thoughtful activities, and engaging content. The result? One of the most successful fundraisers the organization had ever held.

The following year, when we brought the event back in person, Linda suggested an innovative approach: hosting the event at multiple locations to support local businesses while keeping attendance smaller at each site. Once again, the event was a tremendous success. Even after my tenure ended, I had the privilege of attending the following year's event, which was truly one of the most beautiful and extraordinary events I have ever experienced.

Linda has an incredible eye for detail, a gift for seeing possibilities others might miss, and the foresight and determination to bring her ideas to life. She doesn't just plan events; she creates experiences that are thoughtful, meaningful, and memorable.

And then there was Linda and Billy's wedding — without question, one of the most organised, breathtaking, and detail-oriented weddings I have ever attended. Linda and Billy are a dynamic duo, and their combined strengths make them an exceptional team.

If I ever need help planning an event, there would be absolutely no question about whom I would call. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I worked with Linda Durant across multiple aspects of putting together a fundraiser for the victims of the 2022 Gaylord, Michigan tornado.
